Chiara Robinson is Director of Institutional Giving at the Denver Art Museum overseeing foundation, government, and corporate fundraising to achieve the museum’s revenue goals.
In her time at the Denver Art Museum, Robinson has steered the strategic evolution of the museum’s corporate giving program leading to increased marketing-driven sponsorship and engagement for local, regional, and national corporations. During her tenure, she developed creative approaches to customized sponsor activations and valued brand alignments supported by high-touch stewardship.
As head of the Institutional Giving team, she drives steady growth of institutional giving including transformative multi-million-dollar awards endowing staff positions and fellowships in multiple departments, funding exhibitions and educational initiatives, and advancing the care and preservation of collections.
Robinson is a passionate advocate for museums and their benefits to the wellbeing of individuals and society and has served on nonprofit boards and committees in and out of the museum. When not working to sustain and grow museum funding, she enjoys point-to-point long-distance trekking, exploring food cultures, and hiking in the Colorado mountains with her husband Dave and dogs Hazel and Ada.
Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree in art history from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas), and a master’s degree in art history and museum studies from the University of Denver (Denver, Colorado).
