In his role as Global GM, Jon oversees Nielsen’s global sports business, which spans 15 countries and 1200 clients.  His responsibilities include leading teams across client services, commercial, product & technology and operations as well as the delivery of Nielsen’s market leading sponsorship and fan analytics solutions to sports properties, leagues and teams, esports organizations, sponsor brands, games publishers and agencies. Jon has been in his role since January 2023 having previously held leadership roles in North America and Europe with both Nielsen Sports and Repucom.

During his twenty years in the industry Jon has led multi year relationships with the biggest players in global sport including, NFL, NBA, F1 and the Premier League.  Since the acquisition of Repucom in 2016, Jon has been influential in driving Nielsen’s Sponsorship ROI and Fan Insights solutions that support multi-billion dollar investment decisions annually. Jon’s international perspective on the sports industry is fueled by his time spent working on three Olympic Games and two FIFA World Cups.Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Loughborough University in the U.K. and is an alumni of Hult Ashridge Executive Education. Jon was formerly a Non-Executive Director of English Lacrosse and was named to the Leaders Sports Awards 2018 class of Leaders Under 40. Jon is a regular contributor to the sports industry media and is the President of his town’s local soccer club. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and four children.
