Michelle Byron is Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing at NASCAR.  Byron leads the Partnership Marketing team managing all NASCAR Official and NASCAR Track Partners.  Her team’s primary focus for brands is to develop strategic integrated partnerships, showcase products and services, and ultimately build brand awareness and affinity.  Her team leverages research, insights, use of intellectual property, content, events, media, social and breakthrough creative to deepen partnerships and prove the power of NASCAR in achieving partner ROI.

Michelle oversees brands that include:  NASCAR Premier Partners Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Geico and Xfinity; Automotive Manufactures General Motors, Ford, and Toyota; along with other notable brands including DoorDash, Goodyear, Monster, ExxonMobil, Verizon, and AWS.

With the NASCAR and International Speedway Corporation merger in 2019, she helped integrate the combination of two partnership marketing teams and management of corporate partners at 12 national series racetracks including Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and Phoenix Raceway.

Michelle was selected as one of the Sports Business Journal Game Changers in 2020, which recognizes the top women across the sports business landscape.  Additionally, she was one of Charlotte Business Journal’s 2022 Women in Business Achievement honorees.

Byron graduated from West Virginia University and currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, Chris, and their two children.
