As Chief Executive Officer for Evil Geniuses, LaPointe Jameson is the visionary for the company, while leading the day-to-day operations across offices in Seattle, Belfast, and Los Angeles. Since being appointed CEO in 2019, LaPointe Jameson has positioned EG as one of gaming’s leading brands through her leadership of the organization’s competitive sports teams, streaming and entertainment ventures, technology, education, and merchandise initiatives, and its partnership and sponsorship securement. This includes the company’s $255M valuation via capital raise from a partnership with the Premier League Wolvers’ parent company, Fosun Sports Group, and partnerships with innovative organizations like Tumi, LG Electronics, and other trailblazing brands.

In addition to a major brand relaunch, LaPointe Jameson’s leadership has helped lead Evil Geniuses to winning debuts in multiple competitive esports tournaments. Top wins include the StarSeries i-League CS:GO Season 8 competitive tournament and securing a franchise spot for Riot Games’ League Championship Series (LCS), the third most popular overall sport between 18-34-year-olds in North America.

Previously, LaPointe Jameson served as Chief of Staff of the National Flood Services where she focused on strategic and efficiency-driven initiatives around large financial, reputational, and operational impact for the organization. She also serves as Advisory Board Member for the Esports Business Summit, as well as the*gameHERs, a women-led community dedicated to amplifying and centering the voices of women, femme-identifying gamers, and non-binary gamers.
